Our story

The magic is in making a vision your own

From managing an event floral studio to designing the flowers for my own wedding, I learned that the magic is not just in the flowers — it is in making a vision your own.

Why The Floral Method

Professional expertise. Your personal touch.

A clearer path to your budget. Creating your own flowers should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

Versus doing it entirely alone

A DIY search offers inspiration but leaves the hard questions open: How many stems do I need? Which flowers substitute well? What mechanics are safe? When should I prep? Our method turns inspiration into a specific, realistic, personalized plan.

Versus a full-service florist

A full-service florist handles design, procurement, production, delivery, and installation — real value, and sometimes the right fit. We're for couples who want to source and arrange themselves, with professional direction that reduces guesswork and unnecessary purchases.

    Our story

From the studio to our own wedding day

I used to manage an event floral studio, and every week I had the privilege of helping bring someone else's vision to life. I saw firsthand how flowers could transform a space, set a mood, and make an unforgettable day feel deeply personal.

When my wife and I got married, we chose to do everything ourselves. That experience changed the way I thought about wedding flowers. I realized how many couples want to take a hands-on approach to their celebrations, but don't have the experience to turn inspiration into a clear plan. Sometimes, the hardest part is knowing what your vision even looks like.

That's why I started The Floral Method. I wanted to make professional floral knowledge accessible to people who want to create something beautiful with their own hands. From ceremony arches and centerpieces to bouquets and boutonnieres, I put my years of floral experience at your fingertips with custom designs, flower recipes, shopping lists, and guidance every step of the way.

    You bring the dream.
I'll help you make it real.

    Our why

    Empowering, not overwhelming

Beautiful floral design should not require choosing between a costly full-service florist and figuring everything out alone. The Floral Method bridges that gap with expert design direction, practical education, and a plan you can actually follow.

The Floral Method does not replace flower purchases or the time required to arrange and install them. Please budget for stems, vases, mechanics, transport, cold storage, helpers, possible waste, and setup. For large arches or time-sensitive installations, a professional florist or installer may be more appropriate.
